Okay, so here's the deal. I have been using BitTorrent for years and have never had a problem with it. Yesterday I went on demonoid.me (been using it for years as well, no problems) and now none of my torrents will download. All my arrows are red, my status stays at Downloading, my Seeds are 0 (0), my peers are at 0 (0), Ratio 0.000, Avail. 0.000, Trackers (nothing), and on the bottom it says, DHT: 0 nodes (Login), D:o.okB/s T: 3.9 kB, U: 0.0 kB/s T: 4.8 kBs. When I click on the Trackers it says, [DHT] Status: waiting for announce...[Local Peer Discovery] Status: working[Peer Exchange]Status: working. I have been to My link but I don't know how to find and remove the dht.dat and dht.dat.old files from %appdata%\. This morning I tried getting rid off my AVG and it changed to 0 (0) Seeds and 0 (1) Peers, but when I closed it and then reopened it with was back to 0 everything. I have Windows 7 and no other internet security installed besides what comes with Windows.

When I run the BitTorrent Setup Guide and set my Bandwidth to where I live, it fails and says (Connection failed error: Timed out. (10060). My network says, (Results: Port is not open (you are still able to download) Neither NAT-PMP nor UPnP is enabled. My current Port: (0:random) 54725.
It tells me to check my preferences my NAT-PMP and UPnP ARE enabled. So I disabled them then re-enabled them and changed my Current Port to 24145 and it says the NAT-PMP and UPnP ARE enabled but port is not open.

I am getting beyond frustrated and do not know what else to try. I used a Belkin Enhanced Wireless Router F6D4230-4 v3, with Frontier as my internet provider, and my TCP and UDP are not blocked. I am going to restart my router and see if that changes anything but I am so discouraged that I believe it won't change anything. Please help me.

Thanks.

[DHT] Status: waiting for announce...[Local Peer Discovery] Status: working[Peer Exchange]Status: working.

And what about the tracker itself (it starts with http:// or udp:// normally)?

All of my trackers begin with http://. Most of mine are usually http://inferno.demonoid.me/

All the information on one of my torrents changed to:

[DHT] Status: not allowed
[Local Peer Discovery] Status: not allowed
[Peer Exchange] Status: not allowed
http://inferno.demonoid.me/ Status: offline (timed out)

The other is still
[DHT] Status: waiting for announce...
[Local Peer Discovery] Status: working
[Peer Exchange]Status: working.
http://inferno.demonoid.me/ Status: offline (timed out)

Yeah, Demonoid's tracker is actually down right now, so any torrents that only have that as the tracker without the ability to get DHT going are stuck.

As for where to get to %appdata%\BitTorrent, just put it in the address bar of windows explorer.

Really? So it may not be my internet or anything else? I will try a different download site to see if their trackers work. Thanks for that information. I just did a real quick torrent from Piratebay and its at 0 (20) seeds and 0 (4) Peers. It is still not downloading but the arrow is still green. Is that because one of the trackers is from Demonoid? Do you know when demonoid should be up again?

Thanks!

Demonoid would actually know when their trackers are going to be up again. I don't keep track of any trackers except the ones I run.

So I tried a torrent off of three different sites and my DHT: 0 nodes.

[DHT] waiting for announcement
[Local Peer Discovery] working
[Peer Exchange] working
[http://tracker.mininova.org/announce] working

Number two:
[http://tracker.thepi...y.org/announce] no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

Number three:
[udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80] working

All file pieces are red. Seeds are still 0 and peers are still 0. All torrents are under inactive.
