For a few days whatever I downloaded was not going to my downloads folder but to a Utorrent folder that I could only access if I opened the file from Utorrent. Now all of the sudden it is downloading to the downloads folder again. The only problem is that I cannot find the files downloaded in those few days. I am not an overly technical person so if any description to find the file can be as step by step it would be appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Harold Feit Posted September 9, 2011 Report Share Posted September 9, 2011 The cause of this issue is that the folder you were downloading to doesn't have read permissions for your main user account. The security properties on that download folder that was used for thos three days need to be adjusted to, ideally, have your user account have full control.
