BitTorrent Technical Bug

I use Windows XP & I found this Technical bug in BitTorrent 7.8.1 (build 30016)

When downloading file set to high priority, that file can not always reach 100%

Solution: I have to skip all other files, and then wait for few minutes until that "High Priority" File reach 100%

I still use Windows XP & I found this Technical bug in latest BitTorrent 7.9 (build 30659)

The trouble/bug is in "Move Up Queue" and "Move Down Queue"button.

When I select 1 file, and then try to move up or down, the file is automatically unselected, so I have to select it again and then press 'Queue' button again & again.

But if I select 2 or more files and then move up or down, the files moves correctly.

This not happened in previous BitTorrent (v7.8)

I still use Windows XP & I found this bug in latest BitTorrent 7.9 (build 30659)

The trouble/bug is sometime BitTorrent (BT) freeze.

Download & Upload speed progress freeze, also sometime BT screen showing blank white color or even can not active <== it's just freeze

It's not hang in system PC,,,,, If I run 2 or more application, only BitTorrent has this trouble.

I downloading 1 file, size 3.80GB

after few minutes BT freezed and then in next few minutes it works again by itself , and then after few minutes freezed again, over & over.....

As I remember, last time I install VMware Workstation 10.

Is it incompatible with BitToreent so it makes BitTorrent 7.9 freezed?

still use Windows XP until now & I found this bug in latest BitTorrent 7.9.2 (build 37596) and also previous version.

The trouble/bug is comments inside rating tab always move to top.

If we try to press down button, comment only move slightly down and then immadiately moving to top list again, so It's impossible to read rating comment.

FATAL ERROR BITTORRENT v7.9.3 (build 40299)

HARD DISK CORRUPT WHILE DOWNLOADING

I still using Windows XP SP3, with NTFS Partition.

enable all feature: Append .bt to incomplete files, Pre-allocate all files, Prevent Stand-by if there are active torrents.

I found a fatal technical issue with BitTorrent 7.9.3 (build 40299), which causes
hard disk corrupted and inaccessible.
While downloading file with BitTorrent, suddenly error occurred in MFT (Master FAT Table) that caused "Volume Not Found" and always ask to re-format the hard disk.

After some hours work and several data recovery procedures, scanning each block disk sector, CHKDSK repair journal, etc.. (without re-Format Hard Disk), I finally managed to restore all data on the hard disk, (result only some few damaged files.)

Error like this ever happened in previous versions of BitTorrent http://forum.bittorrent.com/topic/20554-crc-error/, (causing errors in .bt CRC file). but corrected after some next release, and happenned again in this 40299 latest version.

Why do I say BitTorrent 7.9.3 (build 40299) is causing this problem?

because, I always update every BitTorrent new release and this my corrupt hard disk only use for Bittorrent (seed-peer files).

furthermore I repartitioning and reformatting this hard disk ,, and did not find any hardware problems on the hard drive, including no bad sector or no MFT issue, everything is back to normal.

so, Mr. Harold Feit, I will not ask for any solution for this issue (cause I already know how to solve this), but I only ask for download link for BitTorrent previous version (before 40299).

Could you give me direct link to download previous BitTorrent 7.9.3?

Thank you.

Notes:

My other thought, about this hard disk issue ...

I set my Windows XP SP3 system Power Options Management:

"Turn off monitor = After 25 minutes"

"Turn off hard disk = After 2 hours"

"System Standby = Never"

whether Bittorrent conflict when writing files to disk? especially conflicts with Windows system Power option 'Turn off Hard Disk' feature ?

If it is true, can this be fixed?

I can see that my previous post was removed, or I don't know where it disappeared to.

I'm using Windows 8.1, and I'm currently using Bittorrent v.7.9.3 Build 40299 - it updates automatically.

I've been unable to open any torrents, open the program itself, or uninstall it.

I'm having a lot of trouble. Please any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
