Bittorrent not asking me where to save files

I have Windows 7 and when I'm using bit torrent, the dialog box isn't showing up when I'm downloading new torrents asking me where to save files. I've checked the "show the window......" but it's still not allowing me to pick where to download the files.

Toggle your torrent view until you have columns. (Far right of your toolbar)

Yeah I get the download box to add new torrent, but will it allow me to skip certain parts of the download?

I changed the view, but it starts the download without letting me view what files I want.

I have the same question. Posting the same answer 3 times is astonishingly unhelpful, I do not understand what you mean.

Actually, I figured it out, and I may as well explain it if that's ^^^ the response the moderators are gonna give, in case someone like me tries to google this in the future.
You have to check the box so that torrents don't start automatically. This way, a box comes up, asking if you really want to add the file. This box can be expanded, to see what you've always seen, the whole checklist business. Torrents downloading automatically? Default settings.

Just a quick thank you to Harold for this, it's been annoying me for weeks!
