Apollo7771 Posted August 9, 2014 Report Share Posted August 9, 2014 I am attempting to move about 3Tb of data at a hosting center in the UK to a hosting center in the US. I have 100 Mbit internet connections at both ends but when I hit the ocean it drops down to about 6 Mbit. To expedite the transfer I setup a private torrent running over VPN that uses 3 geographically different hosts in the US with one of the hosts being the US hosting center. Using private torrents tripled my transfer rate. Is there a way to configure 2 of the hosts to only download from the seed and upload to the destination host?And, if possible, ignore uploads from the destination host.
