Problems with choosing directory

Hi Guys,

Today I bought a new computer and installed bittorrent 7.6 on it. Problem is, when I open my torrent file in Bittorrent the program doesn't ask me in which directory I want the downloaded files stored in. Also, I can't pick which files I want downloaded on my pc and which not. Is there any way to do this? because on my old computer (with an older bittorrent) i could do this.

Excuse me for my bad English, i'm not a native speaker.

Help would be much appreciated

Did you enable the settings that cause the window to pop up?
(preferences - ui settings - show a window that displays the files inside the torrent, then toggle your torrent view to enable the column list BEFORE adding torrents)
