Help
The last four or five downloads have completed downloading and the the avi file disappears from the download folder and bit torrent page says " cannot find the file specified "
I cannot find where the downloaded dvd has gone . Am I doing something wrong ?
I Uninstalled and updated to bit torrent 7.6 but didnt fix the problem. Can anyone help please ?

What settings do you have in preferences - directories?

I created a new folder on the desktop and ticked the box to put downloads in
I have used this succesfully for some time now and assumed that if the dvd was deleted , it was a corrupt file but now the downloaded file seems to be erased
the directory path is
c:\documents and settings\john\desltop\torrent dl

same goes for me. when i usually remove the torrent after it's completed i find the avi file in the download folder but now after removing the torrent from the list, i can't find the file in the download folder or in any other folder. I'm thinking both the torrent task and file got deleted but them i've been clicking the same remove button for months and this the first time the files suddenly disappear after removing.
I have a mac btw, if that helps.

Work around, a bit involved but proves worthwhile. Seems to be a filing structure in Mac OS Lion for Mac Users. Follow these steps.
1. http://www.joshklein...n-mac-os-x-lion
2. Home folder ----> Library folder (now un-hidden one) ----> Application Support folder ---> BitTorrent
Hopefully your files are there.
*NOTE: This is not the "Library" folder you see on your HD list. It must be accessed through Library in your home folder.

I am having the same problem but I have an HP computer I am downloading the torrents just fine but then when I delete them from bit torrent and return to my download folder on my computer were they are normally located they are not there! Where have they gone?
