It's very frustrating; I may as well go back to the older version for this feature.

However, by actually taking the time to read, and by clicking my mouse button in a few areas (which I found instructions on by reading before opening my mouth - or typing in this instance) I've been able to make the new version virtually the same as the old. For people who are likely computer savvy, acknowledged by the fact that we're using a program like this in the first place, I'm amazed by how many of you appear inept by simply complaining and throwing in the towel before finding such SIMPLE solutions!
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly: IT'S FREE!!! You're using a FREE program to download FREE content!!!!! It's a frigging GIFT. Remember programming your own web pages with HTML/Javascript/etc? Remember Yahoo! or Lycos before that or Webcrawler before that? Remember 9.6k dialup modems and it taking 5 minutes to download a single .jpeg file from a Usenet group? Remember thinking, "Man, this is the greatest thing since sliced bread?" Remember when there was no Internet; no cell phones; no remote control for your tv; a dial with 13 numbers on it that you had to get up off your lazy butt and turn every time you wanted to watch another channel; remember that only 3 of those 13 channels ever actually worked - the 3 major networks; the only time you could watch cartoons as a kid was on Saturday mornings; remember riding your bike or playing baseball or shooting things with a bb gun for fun; remember when punishment was being made to stay in the house? Hell, punishment for my daughter would be making her leave the house...to go be human again...to take away her computer or cell phone or DirectTV. She, like all others of her generation have lost the people skills that we used to obtain from actually interacting with other human beings face to face.
So please just take a step back, look at the situation for what it is, and ask yourself if you really should be complaining. BTJunkie recently shut down, which was initially the end of the world for me, but guess what, I found other sites. And guess what, sooner than later those sites will be gone too. Guess what, sooner than later you won't even be able to use this software anywhere because the copyright infringement nazi's will eventually win.
Be thankful for what we have, for what we have that's FREE! That's just my 2 cents.

it is my only complaint. some of the torrents that i want, i don't want all of the torrent. bittorrent seems to be more reliable than the others, but this one feature seems to not make it into the updates. what gives?

As discussed in a dozen threads already, it was not removed.

Everything has been running smoothly and things look basically identical. Just take some time to read/look around before posting about the same stuff tons of others have posted about that could easily be fixed by a few clicks.
