This is something I just can't understand.
I have an encryption option turned on in my qBittorrent client. And yet Comcast severely impairs my internet connection whenever I run qBittorrent.

How can Comcast detect torrent traffic?
What can I do to solve this problem? (Please don't suggest subscribing for some paid proxy service.)

That's something we don't provide support for here. These forums are for BitTorrent official only.

Unfortunately, paid proxy/vpn services are all you can do unless you are successful at filing complaints with the FCC.
