We don't provide support for old versions, that includes finding them.

Hello,
I just upgraded a few days ago to BitTorrent 7.6 and I can't stand it either. To Harold, what I can't stand about the new version is the way the information is now displayed on the right hand side of the screen. The list of torrents that are shown on the right side of the screen do not correctly match the numbers listed within the categories on the left. Example: On the left it will list "Downloading (9)", but I can't see all 9 of these files on the right side of the screen or sometimes only some of the files will be listed on the right side of the screen. What happened to the others and why aren't they being displayed? This also means I can't check the status of those missing torrents such as the speed at which they are downloading, if at all, the number of peers, seeders, file size, file name, etc. Here is one more example. I currently have 54 files listed as completed within BitTorrent, yet when I click on the "Completed (54)" button nothing is displayed on the right hand side of the screen. Where are my files? I know the actual content is in my downloads folder, but I can't see any information within bitTorrent any more. Before, I really enjoyed being to able sort through all of my completed files, or any other category, by completion date, name, file size, etc. Is there a setting I change to give me back my previous display? Is there an explanation for why I can't see the files that I use to be able to see? Other than that, it appears the new version is working fine. I would greatly appreciate any help with fixing this issue.
Thanks,

There are display issues being worked on for the category views.
As for the columns you're missing, right-click the column headers for the columns you do have to turn on the ones you don't.
If you aren't in the column view, toggle the torrent view (button on the far right of your toolbar).

I've been over this about 25-30 times in the past week.

to enable seeing the files in torrent before the torrent starts simply click on options at top left then preferences
then highlight ui settings & tick the box for dont start the download automatically now when you go to download a torrent a box will apear open up this box "arrow at bottom left" there are the files inside the torrent

I also didn't like the changes - seems they are more for "modernised looks" rather than function - worst was the date/time tagging - yesterday / 3 weeks ago etc - really stuffs up checking for files. Also there were less lines able to be shown on screen without scrolling.
So simply closed the software down and reloaded 7.2 over the top - have yet to check it all out but seems to be working great - will NOT be using that new version if I can avoid it. ( found I do have both 7.2 and 6.4 on the current drive - wonder if I could put a toorent up somewhere with them - but never done that before and don't know if BitTorrent would like it )
Wonder if this was a case of "dont worry what the USER wants - or more importantly NEEDS " and a major case of the Programmer will give what he/she decides everyone should use - wasn't that the case with Windows Vista??????

I've been using BittTorrent for about 2 years now.
Got an automatic update suggestion. Said yes of course.
It used to be quite intuitive. Now I can't work out where anything I want is.
Single worst thing:
I've got a .torrent file for Silent Witness Seasons 1 to 13.
I just want to download 1 episode that screwed up in my TV recording.
What used to happen was that I would get a prompt box that allowed me
to select any subset of all possible episodes. This seems to have disappeared.
So it's forcing me to download the whole 13 seasons.
I've now uninstalled BitTorrent and am looking for another client.
It's a shame that designers put so much effort into the "look" and so
little into being useful. I find the new look quite awful, but I would tolerate
it if the damned thing actually worked.
