Suddenly I'm getting this error message under 'status' with most downloads - Error: Permission denied. Any ideas?

Double-check the security properties on the downloads folder and make sure your user account has full control.

I am getting this same message every time I try to download anything. It worked fine a week ago. my downloads says I have control. Any ideas??
