how to search for a file

Hi

I have set up BitTorrent and applied some sites , btjunkie, piratebay , etc , but the question is , how do I search for a file , when I type in a search criteria in the search box ( top right ) it just opens up a Bing web site , am i missing something here , I thought that when you type a search the Torrent sites that I have attched to BitTorrent will start to search , well that is how I had done it with Vuze , any help out there !.
