Hi,
I've used Bit Torrent for a while, but don't fully understand everything. I have a big problem. For reasons that are complex I must save all my computer files and info to a hard drive, and reload the OS. I have a Windows XP. I have a lot of partly downloaded, and still downloading files in bit torrent. I know how to download the fully downloaded files, but can I either save some part of the bit torrent program, so that the partly downloaded files will be able to continue downloading once I reload it on a the computer after the OS reinstall, or is I just download the partially downloaded files can I get them to finish downloading once I reload them onto the empty computer? Also, whatever I must download onto the harddrive now how do I reload them to the empty computer later, so that the partial files still continue to download?

If it's not possible to get them to continue to download, should I only copy the fully downloaded files, and start downloading the partially downloaded ones from scratch once my computer's OS is reloaded?

What are my options. Please let me know soon I must do this by the begining of next week. If anyone wants to PM me, and talk to me on the phone that would be great since I'm not great at more complex computer stuff. However, any help is welcomed.
Thanks

Simply re-add the torrents pointing bittorrent at the partially downloaded files.
The steps in uTorrent's migration guide will get you what you need.

Hi,
So all I have to do is copy the partially copied files, and the fully copied files, and follow the insructions in this link. They are kind of complex, so I'll need a while to really look over them, but all I need to do is copy the downloaded files and follow them later, or do they require I copy more information?

Also, I just wanted to ask, how much should I seed to be curtious to others? I try to seed a good amount, but it's usually kind of random depending on the functionality of my computer. How do I find out if I'm seeding enough, and can I talk to other people using torrent?

You need the .torrent files for the various downloads as well, but yes.

Ok, I'm not very computer literate apart from the most basic stuff. I need to copy the files that have been both fully and partially downloaded, do I need any other files. You say I need the "various downloads" are those the full and partial video and audio and image files that have been downloaded to my download folder, or do I need to save something else to a hard drive as well?
Thanks
PS
Also, how do I list the downloading torrents in alphabetical order?
