I download a lot of files using Bittorrent in Windows. What I want to see is, even when I boot up in Puppy (or Back|Track, or Ubuntu, or Kanotix), the downloads will resume.
For instance, I have sda1 (C:) for my Windows, sda2 (D:) for my Linux Distros, and sdb1 for all my downloads. Any idea? =)

Mmm... Maybe I'm looking for an open source torrent downloader. =/ ... but I think it's possible.
Look, for instance I'm downloading "Hello_World-x1.000.tar.gz" using Windows and it's 35% done. When I boot up Ubuntu, the download will resume. To resolve this, let's make a file that will contain all the information about "Hello_World-x1.000.tar.gz", say its "Hello_World-x1.000.tar.!bti" (or something else). Before downloading the "Hello_World-x1.000.tar.gz", Bittorrent will check first the "Hello_World-x1.000.tar.!bti". Is that simple? got the point? =)

Mmm... so you're saying that this will not be implemented sooner? Or, maybe implemented after some couple of years?
But at least we got a proof of concept. =)
