Hi.
I am having an issue whereby when I try and start a torrent downloading, as I always have done without issue; it simply won't start! This is for ANY torrent regardless of the amount of seeds. I have BitTorrent allowed access in Windows Firewall and the green 'tick' is showing as normal in the bottom right of the BitTorrent window. I do not have a scheduler stopping downloads active. I can't for the life of my figure out what is wrong. I have an unlimited connection. The pieces are all marked in red to say there is insufficient information, however it says this for ALL torrents.
The only change is that I have changed networks. I am at a different location now, however my brother uses the same programes on his laptop and it works fine. Does anyone have any idea what is stopping the download from initiating?
Thanks.

I downloaded uTorrent and it works fine on that. I still have no idea what the problem could have been, but whatever it was it doesn't seem to be a problem on uTorrent.

Pined5551, thanks for the idea, unfortunately, I'm still getting the same results on uTorrent... abig fat NOTHING happening. I'm on Time Warner Cable. Anyone know if that is a specific issue for torrents?

Hi, you need to make sure that the port number in your firewall and the port number in BitTorrent match. Changing the settings can easily randomly generate a new port.
