I appreciate that we need to wait for most of the features that are basic requirements for torrents. The one that I really miss is the ability to de-select / select the files in a torrent that I want to download. I am sure you will add them back in but at the moment, this is a nightmare. It is also hard to tell how much uploading you are doing.
I basically like the front end, however until I see a version that has all of the required options that you gave us in previous versions, I am really not enjoying using it.
It would be interesting to know what was the driver behind the update? Is it to make it easier for beginners, or to make it pretty or to reduce functionality or something else.
Looking fwd to the next version as this is a bit of a nightmare.
Thanks
Steven

I think the biggest problem I've had is when I'm downloading a torrent with a large amount of files, It doesn't actually allow me to see how far each file has progressed. It doesn't show all the files when you select the torrent, only a small portion. Even with the scrolling bar, It does not show them allll.

I just download & installed the 8.0 beta - have not really had a chance to check it out - did notice it installed the 32 bit & I have a 64 bit OS - there was no option to install either a 32 or 64 bit. Any reasons or what can I do to get the 64 bit edition?
Thnx!

I also don't know why people seems so "down" on the Beta - from what I see I like it already - & I have only explored the features/options and not really used it yet (did one download) - seems everything I need is there & I like the simplified layout - like the map too, that's cool. Change takes a bit to get used to & is difficult for most people - glad I'm not a part of the most.

matt, if you didn't get the exe from bittorrent.com it's your own fault.
If you got the virus after downloading a file with it, it's not our program that gave you the virus.
Otherwise

I don't know a lot about computers but since I downloaded the new version everything is downloading really slowly - I mean like 12 kb/sec... Tonight it is up to 120 kb/sec but this is still really slow compared to what I am used to. I called my internet provider today thinking the fault may have been there - nope... Everything else downloads fine and fast its ONLY using this program that everything goes in slow motion..?? Not sure if it is this program?? I have checked all the settings I can and it all seems fine...

This is a huge issue for me. I do not desire the whole torrent!
