I've been wondering the same thing. I may only want certain files, but I can only find them in a bundle with other files.

I discovered a way to do this right after my last answer, lol. There should be a little "i" to the bottom left of the bar that shows the torrent status. Click that, and it will open a list of the files. You can click the little "X" next to the file to stop downloading it. You can also check the status of the individual downloads here. Hope this helps!

I don't think that's possible and I don't think I would need something like that. Even if you could select the pieces if the file is not complete it is unusable.

I agree, never seen this kind of feature in any bit torrent. However it has always allowed to choose which file to download.

After opening the torrent file, Click on the "files" tab and deselect the files you don't want to download by clicking on the arrows to the left of the title. You can even right-click on the file and scroll down to the "don't download" option in the menu.

Before i upgraded i could select what files i wanted to download in the torrent before it all loaded up,now i have to wait for it all to load then go through the files after and stop the ones i dont want.Is there noway to change the settings so it was like it was before? i found it so much easier.Cheers in advance

To skip the files that you don't want to download, first highlight all the files. Right click on them and choose 'Don't Download'.
Then right click the files you want to download and choose 'Priority', 'Normal'.
Start Torrent.
