  1. I am using Windows 7 and its firewall. I have BitTorrent v 7.2.1 (build 25250) Lately, I have been getting two odd messages in the status portion of my BitTorrent. They are: "An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions" and "Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted" My downloads have slowed down considerably lately, since these messages have begun to appear. Does anyone know what the problem is and how (if possible) I can fix it? I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you
  2. My internet security is Windows 7 firewall......I have AVG Internet Security 2011 The advanced settings are the way they were when they were installed. I have changed nothing. Thank you
  3. While downloading things on my bitTorrent, I am seeing the following sentence in the tracker status window: "Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted" Can anyone tell me what this means and can it cause a slow down or any other problem with my downloads? I would appreciate any help Thank you.
  4. I am using bit torrent 7.2. I just got a new computer which has Windows 7 installed on it. On my old computer (which had Windows XP), I had no problems with speed. Many times I was over 120KBs. But, since I got the new computer with Windows 7, I have problems even getting into the 50's. (By the way, my old computer was very slow and had less than 1 Gb of Ram. I now have a computer with 6GB of Ram and I have wifi (I have a Linskys by cisco router [WRT54G2 V1.5] Being on the net is super fast, but my bit torrent (and even my emule) are slow. I followed instructions on computer and made a new rule in the Firewall, but it had no effect. Can anyone help? Please? Thank you
