njb013 Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 So I decided to try making my first torrent, and I'm running into some issues. I have a desktop that I'm creating the torrent on, and a laptop that I'm using to test. The problem is, even though the desktop says "[F] Initial-Seeding" and I can see that there are two peers connected, my upload speed stays at zero. Likewise, the laptop is stuck on Connecting to peers (0.0%), even though it can see a seed (0 of 0 connected, 1 in swarm). Right-clicking and updating the trackers hasn't helped, and I've double checked the port forwarding information and everything seems fine. Both computers are currently seeding other torrents, so I don't believe there is an ISP issue. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Harold Feit Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 Because of the way the router is designed that sort of testing may not work.

Harold Feit Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 Get friends to test with their internet connections.
