Anyone Want To Chat?

I'm not going to get many of my friends to use Windows, let alone install a pre-alpha product.  Anyone want to chat?  My install on a Windows 7 virtual machine went like clockwork.  I presume adding my public key here will do the trick:

Hello World. :)

Are you referring to the red "!" on the icon of the person whom you added or the red "!" on the message that you were trying to send (which shows the message wasn't successfully sent)?

The red "!" on the picture of the person in your contact list, shows that this person was added with manually entering the key (i.e. incognito).

Technically, the application should not be easily blockable (eventually) by firewalls but there might be issues here and there that prevent messages to be sent.

Generally speaking, it will be pretty difficult to block Bleep (eventually).

I see jimstar just added me but i can't see you online

It's me. I'm in New Zealand, so I may be sleeping when you are awake. ;) But I must always be online, as Bleep is always run on my Windows computer. I just almost never use that Windows comp, just remoting into it from my MacBook from time to time to check if new messages arrived. So sometimes it may take time before I answer...

I was already able to chat with somebody from here, so it works OK... UPnP is enabled in router settings...

Really waiting for "Bleep for OSX" - will be happy to have it on MacBook.

I am interested to know what will be more useful in Linux:

A command line version of Bleep or something similar to what we have for Windows (if you had to pick one)?

I don't want to pollute this topic with an unrelated subject but please feel free to open a new topic for this and discuss. I personally (as a Linux user) would like a command line tool considering what I actually do on Linux but that might just be me.
