how to install

I have been reading and posting questions and not getting anywhere. I am in need of big help!!!!!!

I am trying to download and install bittorrent and once it askes OPEN or SAVE , I click on OPEN just like the website tells you to

but then I get a box that pops up asking "what file to open it with" the options it gives is Adobe, Wordpad, Paint, Windows

Media Player, etc. and no matter which one I click on it says it is not supported and does nothing. I have used bittorent

in the past and it worked great until it stopped downloading things and freezing up. So I figured I would just delete it off my

computer and starting fresh. Now I can't download it at all. Someone, anyone please help!!!!!!!!!
