Guest pdrizzle
Hey guys, thanks for your help. Bittorrent shows in its status bar at the bottom of the screen that it's downloading at a certain speed, say 100kb/s. But, my internet connection utility shows that when Bittorrent is open my computer is downloading at speeds of over 1MB/S!!!! What's going on? My torrents aren't even downloading at the speed they normally do. They're kinda slow. I'm using the built-in Windows antivirus program that comes with Windows 7 so I don't think it's any common virus or anything. Any idea what might be going on? I use a mobile broadband USB modem and I pay per gigabyte so I'd rather have Bittorrent be as efficient as possible when downloading...Thanks! Guest Marcin
BT shows speed in kB/s, while your internet connection utility in kb/s, which is exactly 8 times more.Remember that 1B = 8b
