Not downloading: No connection

I have been using BitTorrent for over a year now and all of a sudden, nothing downloads. The little green dot in the bottom right corner looks inactive and says "No connection". I haven't changed any settings either. What could the problem be?

I have this problem too. I was happy downloading something, it completed no problem, then i lined up something else, and NO GO... its online, says all the same stuff, but just won't download. the download bar stays at 0% for days and days. I just dont understand... nothing has changed.

I work on a Mac Book Pro.

No security.

please help...
