Nothing happens when I click "Get Torrent" -- Please talk to me like I'm a 4 year old.

I am having a really hard time.  I'm trying to download torrents and nothing happens when I click "get torrent."  NOTHING happens.  I got a couple of responses, but I guess they were over my head.  Please, speak to me like I am 4, and tell me what to do, step by step.  The responses I got were about adding torrents, but when I replied with another question, I got no response. 

 

Please, like I'm 4 years old, ok?  Thank you so much for your help.

first of all, download and install a bitTorrent client. i use uTorrent.

U have to open the downloaded torrent files in a bitTorrent client to start downloading the files.
