jmurph116 Posted February 4, 2014 Report Share Posted February 4, 2014 I'm new to Mac so I'm not sure what may be the issue here. I installed bittorrent and it isn't connecting to any ports what so ever. I'm able to use Vuze and it randomizes ports every time I use it so I don't see why bittorrent and utorrent are not working. My Mac's firewall is completely turned off. I'm running Avast for Mac and have all of the shields ON. I did try to disable the web shield to no avail. It should be noted that my roommate (who has a pc) is able to connect to bittorrent and we share the same router, so I don't feel like this is a port problem, although I could be wrong.
