Problems With 7.8.2 (Didn't Exist With 7.8.1)

NOTE: No problems existed prior to downloading 7.8.2

Repeat (before the stupid excuses are made): NO PROBLEMS existed prior to downloading 7.8.2

 

Version 7.8.2 causes:

(1) Severe problems with Windows Explorer, causing need to restart Windows Explorer repeatedly and severe slowdowns (other applications being marked as "Not Responding")

(2) Related problems with IE9 (due to integrated features of Windows Explorer in IE9)

(3) Interference with Windows Task Manager (due to integrated features of Windows Explorer)

(4) Interference with the Start Menu (due to integrated features of Windows Explorer)

(5) Interference with the Task Bar (due to integrated features of Windows Explorer)

(6) Interference with the System Tray (due to integrated features of Windows Explorer)

 

Some of the other observed symptoms:

(1) Problems usually start on minimizing BitTorrent.  It will remain on the Task Bar; but will not be accessible from the Task Bar.  Functioning of other applications on the Task Bar may also be interfered with beginning at that time.

(2) On minimizing BitTorrent, the icon in the System Tray may or may not function.

(3) Opening any torrent from ANY website (MNOVA, BitTorrentMonster, BitSnoop, etc.) experienced long -- sometimes very long -- delays before the BitTorrent dialog opens.

(4) If using multiple tabs in IE9, the ability to move between tabs is lost when the problems start.

(5) Minimizing IE9 at that point creates an old style Windows 98 icon on the screen instead of simply minimizing to the Task Bar.

(6) Attempting to select a file from the file list (e.g., double-clicking a jpeg to view it) may result in minutes before a response occurs, whereas previously it was only seconds with 7.8.1

(7) Deleting a torrent may take minutes (this is not the old caching issue).

 

There are several other issues.  Quite frankly, version 7.8.2 is not ready for prime time.  As it is right now, it is virtually unusable on my machine.

 

One more time:  NONE of these problems existed prior to downloading 7.8.2

 

I need a rollback to 7.8.1
