HayBay2495 Posted February 12, 2014 Report Share Posted February 12, 2014 I have been trying to get this port to open for over 4 hours and no matter what I do, it won't open. I am a complete newbie here... like, I don't understand most of the words that are in caps.. so please.. try and explain it thoroughly. The things I have done are: Edit my firewall settings and added BitTorrent to my 2Wire 3801 HGV allow list. And it still doesn't work, it says that my port is not open. I've tried to check if it's my firewall or my modem, but every site says that the connection has timed out only after about 2 seconds of loading. Please help... thank you. rickity Posted February 12, 2014 Report Share Posted February 12, 2014 I have the exact same problem and the exact same router. Multiple attempts and no success. Portforward says it's open but run the test in bittorrent and it says it's not. I've disabled my avast internet security and ran test again, same result.Please let me know if there's a solution.
