What Is Bittorrent Uploading?

I'm running BT 3.3.2 on Windows 7. I've been running Bittorrent with no problems for years.

 

Last night I noticed that in addition to my downloads, the Speed graph showed upload activity of 1305 kbps. That was curious, as none of my active or inactive torrents were seeding.

 

I chalked it up to an anomaly. This morning I rebooted and tried again. Once more, as soon as I opened BT, the uploads pegged at 1305 kbps. The speed graph doesn't waver: it's exactly 1305 kbps.

 

I have no active or inactive torrents showing.

 

What the heck is Bittorrent doing?

Whoops. I misread the chart. I dunno why upload rate limit is now showing, but I see that's what is visible...not uploads in progress, but max upload speed.

 

Now I feel foolish.
