Unable to open a torrent and make it start downloading into Bitorrent 7.5

Hi everyone,

I have just downloaded Bitorrent 7.5 for the 1st time and i'm unable to open a torrent and make it start downloading into Bitorrent 7.5.

I have downloaded the torrents to a folder on my PC and neither by double-clicking on the files nor by opening them directly on Bitorrent 7.5 does it start to download the content.

It's happening with all the torrents that i download and try to open. When i open them nothing is displayed on the Bitorrent window and the "Download" tab on the left is shown as "Download (0)" meanining that no torrent has been opened.

Can you please help me?

I've also tried to drag the Torrents into the Bitorrent's window and nothing happened.

Please kindly help me.
