Researching Download Numbers Help

Hi everyone, 

 

I'm really interested in HBO's decision to force Australians to buy a Foxtel subscription if they want to watch Game of Thrones.

 

I'm doing my Master of Economics (and I'm a Game of Thrones fan) and I thought I'd like to base a project on comparing download data from different countries, and comparing it with the cost and availability of the show. 

 

I need some advice on getting some solid download statistics. I know I can find some stats retrospectively through trackers, but ideally I'd like episode by episode download data. 

 

I'd be super grateful for any advice.
