Suggestion: Always Online Test Account

Is there a way we can do something similar to what skype does and have a chat account thats always online so we can test

 

 

So far everyone i've added is offline I think it might be a issue with my system but i can't troubleshoot becuase i dont know what to look for with a live account

that would be sweet indeed, all the people i invited are a bit ecceptic about the concept.. so i sort of.. am tied to try this thing.

 

the always online bot sounds like a good idea in the mean time

You can install the software on two separate machines for testing purposes.

I'd assume it's a network issue. I believe the client only uses DHT (hope this later is optional). Both clients in the network would need to successfully navigate the DHT to 'find' each other, even if on the same local network (someone correct me if I'm wrong). If the network configuration is somehow to blame, then it's simply not going to work.

 

You can try connecting both through your phone's wifi in tethering mode (using mobile data plan). This way you avoid using your router which is the possible culprit.

or we could make a always on bot like skype does so Its not a pain in the ass to test.
