We are also looking into how to release the engine in a way that helps the most number of developers. Not sure how the final APIs will look like exactly but it will probably be a combination of SIP/RTP interface with some other exposed functions to deal with the identities. If your application works with SIP(in a traditional client/server way), you should be able to easily replace your server with the Bleep engine. More on this topic here.
