Bittorrent Socket Error Mac Ppc

Hi Im using a Mac G5 Power PC with OS X Version 10.4.11 Tiger and just downloaded an older version of BitTorrent (v 4.27.1) and every time I try to download a file it gives me this error:

What does this mean?  Is there any way to fix it?  If not is there any other torrent software compatible with my OS that can download new torrents?  Also all of my downloads have come from Kickass so Im not sure if that might be the issue or the fact that the magnet link causes my Mac downloader to download and doesn't go straight to BitTorrent,  If that's the problem how do I change that?   Im not very familiar with Macs especially one this old with no real support anymore but my PC HDD just crashed and this is all I have.  Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
