Resources That Talk About The System Architecture?

Hi,

I was wondering if there was any documentation about the system architecture of BitTorrent, or previous versions of BitTorrent/Mayline. I am a student studying software engineering and was going to give a presentation about BitTorrent or a previous version of BitTorrent

 

I was wondering if any of this information was available from BitTorrent, or if I should go through the older files that I can find on my own?
