disrespectful BitTorrent actions

I just allowed your software to update itself and I told it to NOT do anything with my toolbars.

However, it shutdown Firefox, wiped out all of the pages that I have restart automatically and installed its F'ing toolbar.

Please tell me how to get this Bittorrent crap out of Firefox.

Couldn't agree more. I don't recall an opt-out screen during the automatic upgrade process. There were a couple 'Windows Explorer has experienced an error and must restart' system error messages, the screen blinked and everything seemed to work fine -- but I have new toolbars in IE and Chrome. I figured out how to disable the BT addons in both browswers, but I'm constantly getting a new error that some 'toolbars want to access BitTorrent, allow?' -- that's messed up. I don't like the idea that torrent software is lingering in ways-unknown on my Windows7 laptop...

How do I uninstall the BitTorrentBar toolbar?

You may uninstall this software at any time and with no limitations, using the standard uninstall procedures as offered with your computer's operating system or your Internet browser.

Firefox users

In the Firefox browser menu, select Add-ons > Extensions.

Select the BitTorrentBar Community Toolbar.

Click Remove.
