captaindirgo Posted September 4, 2022 Report Share Posted September 4, 2022 I want to create an in-browser extension so that users can comment on any web page, similar to Gab's old dissenter extension, but make the backend decentralized and as reliable as possible. Since magnet links have been around a long time, I was thinking of using DHT with router.bittorrent.com as a bootstrap node to find comments for a particular url, in order to help my project from being able to be targeted for an attack. From what I can understand, this means that I'd be sharing the DHT used for magnet links with my project. Is this ok?
