down loads don't appear in app. but show downloaded by phone and appear in SD. files. and when I try opening it using app manually it just says failed

So when I open the app and use the search feature. I type in the name of the torrent and hit search. It does fine and produces a list of torrent files matching what I typed. Next I select which one of the files to download and it gives me an error message. Asking am I sure. Once I click yes it takes about 30 seconds till phone shows down load complete. However when I go into app and select downloads there is nothing there but if I go into my file manager and look it's in the downloads file but when I try and open it and tell it to use the app to perform that function the bit torrent. Gives says loading file bit then right away task failed
