Guest Bryce Posted June 17, 2012 Report Share Posted June 17, 2012 I get the following error message 8 times before BitTorrent fully launches and asks me where I want to put the attempted torrent."Connection failed.... The server "192.168.2.3" may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection, and then try again."Once it's done, everything seems to work fine. I've looked in the preferences many time to see if there's a setting anywhere that I can change to get BitTorrent to stop looking through my network... Any suggestions?I wouldn't really care if it happened Bam-Bam-Bam, but it's taking upwards of 20 minutes to load BitTorrent.... I don't typically have the requested computer turned on, so I think that multiple requests are being made (with time-outs as it waits for responses) before the error message is generated.
