Can't download past 11.4%

[Guest confused]

I just downloaded bittorrent yesterday. I began downloading a file that is about 5.5g. The file began downloading at a good speed and it seemed to be working well. Then it just sort of stopped when it got to 11.4%. Not sure what happened, it was downloading at over 800kb/s until it stopped. I uninstalled and reinstalled bittorrent and again it went very fast up to 11.4% and stopped again. Why won't it let me finish this download?? Do I need to change some settings? please help, thanks!
