lovedaddy Posted October 20, 2012 Report Share Posted October 20, 2012 i downloaded a torrent and its finished im trying to move it to my downloads folder but its not showing up when i click the folder. on bit torrent it says thats where it is though. when i try to move the file it says cannot move it at this time because its still in use by bittorrent. i dont believe its still in use how do i fix this and move the file? hgardman Posted November 8, 2012 Report Share Posted November 8, 2012 Try restarting the computer and that should remove the still in use notice. Also you can designate the folder you want your download to be located by opening BitTorrent clicking on Preferences - General - Directories...when directories open you may enter the file location as an example if you have a digital file in your computer file F...then enter F;/ This will allow you to download videos directly to this file and not to your hard drive. I have an external drive where I download all my videos...it will hold 2 trigs of files....about 2,000 videos...that will not take up space in your harddrive. Hope this helps....
