No free space on my harddrive?

Hi,

I started my pc 5 hours ago, with 147GB of free space on my HDD.

Then I've started to add about 20 torrent files in BitTorrent.

When I look now to the stats, their are 4 downloads finished, with a total of 14GB.

But when I look in my Explorer, windows says I have less than 1GB of free space!?

So 147GB - 14GB = 1 GB ?!?

Why does BitTorrent eat up my space?

How can I fix this?
