Deleting copyrighted files

My son DL'd a movie file and an mpg file and I received an email from our internet service provider that these two files are copyrighted and we need to delete them. I did a search on his laptop and found them under a directory called uTorrent. When I double clicked on them, it opens up in the "Add New Torrent" dialog box showing they are 116Mb and 8.5Mb respectively. However, in windows directory, it shows they are only 19kb and 11kb. I'm guessing these are just links or shortcuts to the larger files.

Where do I find and how do we delete the larger files so the FBI doesn't come knocking at my door. These files are linked to my IP address and we need to delete them.
