Schmye Bubbula Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 In Vuze, there is said to be an advanced setting called "Bind to local IP address" that brings things to a grinding halt if your VPN connection disconnects, so your real IP address won't be exposed. How do you make BitTorrent do that?
Schmye Bubbula Posted March 18, 2013 Author Report Posted March 18, 2013 This question has been up for ten days and 168 people have viewed it. I may be a newbie, but it seems like a lot of people would want to know how to stop things when a VPN connection is dropped. Am I missing something? Have I asked something wrong? Is this something that the VPN client should be doing? (If so, then why does Vuze apparently do it?) Can somebody point me in the right direction to prevent switching over to my real IP address when the VPN is lost?
