Guest Newie Posted March 10, 2011 Report Share Posted March 10, 2011 Hi, I'm new to bittorrent. I followed very closely to the set up guide but my downloading is extremely slow. Why is that so? eddybeef Posted March 10, 2011 Report Share Posted March 10, 2011 Im no expert but the download speed depends on the upload speed of the peers and seeders u r connected to. as far as your port try a site called simple port forwarding. This may help. Your port is like an open door that peers connect to to send the file to you. Your computer has thousands of ports and the number of which port bittorrent is using needs to be forwarded to the peers so they know which port to send the file to. I THINK!! Hope I have helped.
