Connecting To Peers Router Issue

So basically I am yet another victim of the now-infamous "Connecting to Peers" bug, but it doesn't seem as fatal for me. I can download certain torrents, and from certain sites, virtually all torrents will work. In a nutshell, I don't think my firewall on my PC is to blame (especially since I turned it off for a while to see). Here is the kicker... these same non-functioning torrents start right up once I go into someone else's wifi. In other words, I think the issue lies with certain torrents on my router specifically. Of course, I have no idea where to go from here. Thanks a million, yall (and for the record I did do a search, which is how I know this problem is such a pandemic... other posts just didnt seem relevant enough)
