odd messages in tracker status

I am using Windows 7 and its firewall.

I have BitTorrent v 7.2.1 (build 25250)

Lately, I have been getting two odd messages in the status portion of my BitTorrent. They are:

"An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions"

and

"Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted"

My downloads have slowed down considerably lately, since these messages have begun to appear.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how (if possible) I can fix it?

I would appreciate any help you can give me.
