Hi,

My download speed has lowered twice since I updated BitTorrent to version 7.6.1. My download speed used to be up to 1 Mb/s, now it's always around 450 Kb/s. So, I think, my provider is not the problem. I have to do something with BitTorrent Preferences. Unfortunately, I don't quite understand what to do with the Preferences, so I have changed them as listed in SLOW TRANSFER SPEEDS post. Could you please tell me what should I change in order to get higher speed?

Same problem. But I seem to be limited in my seeds. I can have 4-5 tops, and usually there are 20 available. Is it the same with you?

The number of seeds is irrelevant to your overall download speed. Your settings, as well as your internet security software settings, are more significant factors.

OK. So, what can I do with the settings? I'm not a specialist in these matters...
I use ESET Smart Security 4 both as antivirus and firewall, all permissions for BiTorrent are open.
And I'm sure that the problem is the new version of BiTorrent (7.6.1), for I have not changed anything else.
Could you please help me to get my previous speed (up to 1 Mb\s)?
Which data should I give?

Remove and re-create the rules for bittorrent in eset to start.
