Harold Feit
Have you tried changing your preferences - directories to have the "Store .torrents in" setting unchecked?

Harold Feit
You made it so that BitTorrent stores the temporary copies of the .torrent files it needs for operation in the default location of %appdata%\bittorrent instead of the location that was specified in the setting (which probably was no longer accessible). Guest krysie
i have the same thing happening to me. I had utorrent and i could download fine but then it started displaying those messages. Then i got Bittorrent and it displayed those messages too. the 'store.torrents in' section is unchecked and it still won't work.
