change to a 64 bit version?

Hi, I'm very new to using Torrents, and forgive me if this question has been asked previously - I wasn't able to find it: I notice I'm running the 32-bit Version of BitTorrent 7.8 (build 29039) for my PC running Windows 7. Should I switch to a 64-bit version? Does that exist? Would it make any sort of a difference?

A 64-bit version doesn't exist.

The development version we had performed far worse than the 32-bit version.

Thanks. I'll keep my current 7.8 version then (one other thing -- does it matter that I see build numbers greater than 29039 -- my current build number?)
