combining already downloaded parts of a file to a new download

Hi..

I already downloaded a few parts of a movie and then had to have my computer formatted... So had to re-install bit torrent..

I have the parts already downloaded saved.. I am now downloading the movie again, Do i have to download the whole thing or can i combine the parts i already have to the one am downloading?
